The Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce (CLACC) Toastmasters club began this directory with the sincere wish that your organization benefit from the listing of speakers compiled here.

This directory is arranged by speech topics. Within each topic you will find speeches listed by title. Along with the speech title you will find a short description of the speech, plus information on how to contact the speaker directly. When available, speaker website addresses are also provided.

The list is continuously changing because new members are always joining the Chamber of Commerce and want to participate in the Speakers' Directory. The only requirement for participating is that the speaker must be a member in good standing of the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce. To apply to be a speaker, please download and complete this application.

Please note, the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce does NOT schedule bookings for the speakers-each speaker must be contacted INDIVIDUALLY and appointment times and places set with them. Some speakers have furnished a 5 to 10 minute videotape which exhibits their speaking style. These videos are available for viewing at the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, 1201 NASA Road One. It is recommended that you visit the chamber office to view the videotapes you feel best meet the needs of your organization. Their hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This Speakers' Directory is a complimentary service to those who engage our speakers. However, if travel out of this area is involved and/or an overnight stay required-please make the necessary travel arrangement with the INDIVIDUAL speaker as he or she may require expenses be reimbursed. If your organization does typically provide an honorarium to their speakers, the members of the Speakers' Directory have agreed to donate $25.00 to the Directory to help pay for the upkeep and promotion of this service.
